About Us

At PDATSI We love, we share, we dream and we care…

History

PDATSI, Dental Assisting Training in the Philippines, is not just not a building façade located at the Freestar Arcade but a home to our beloved students who are about to soar high in the dental profession… PDATSI is our committed and experienced faculty who selflessly offer their talent and intellect in developing the required clinical skills and personality for the student’s success… Moreover, PDATSI is Dr. Ray Adam Alviar, the School Founder and Director who envisioned bringing dental assisting to greater heights not only in the Philippines but abroad!

Year 2019 became the culmination of that dream — the birth of the Philippine Dental Assisting Training School, Inc. Starting with ripples, PDATSI created waves in the dental industry. But as the old adage goes – Many are called but few are chosen. Certified dental assisting Philippines as this dreamer envisions, is not only a simple lucrative profession but a special calling for humbled and compassionate individuals with a true heart and sincere quest for patient care.

A dream once dreamed, PDATSI or Dental Assisting Training at its best in the Philippines, not only provides the skills and competence in dental assisting but inculcates to all oral health care dreamers as well the values of transforming life into a more meaningful existence. This dream continues to live on with the School Founder and Institution Head, Dr. Ray Adam Alviar’s quest for the best.

Each day is a new blessing from the Lord Almighty. Let us all face it with enthusiasm and optimism that the best is yet to come…

As the school song goes, Our Home will always be… always be…. PDATSI!!

Vision

The role of a dental receptionist in the past was simplistic. The duties included greeting patients, answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, and other basic secretarial functions. However, as the years progressed with the evolution of modern technology, the receptionist’s role has likewise evolved to a more complex one. Beyond the basic administrative functions, comes the need for efficient chairside assisting and other circulating or roving functions such as taking dental radiographs, operating specialized dental equipment, maintaining responsibility for sterilization and infection control procedures.

Therefore, to meet the qualifications for an administrative and clinical assistant in today’s dental practice, current dental secretaries and new applicants could acquire dental assisting and business skills through a training program. Philippine Dental Assisting Training School, understands the importance of oral health literacy which starts from our very own dental health care assistants. Focused on secondary education program, our school curriculum has been designed not only to teach and nurture aspiring dental health care personnel but to enhance the knowledge and skills of our current dental staff especially in the field of infection control.

With the corporate vision of building Character, Competence and Commitment to work, the Philippine Dental Assisting Training School is hereby committed to lead the development of multiskilled and professional dental assisting graduates through its Dental Vocational Course in Cebu.
